THE PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Art. 13 of the Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (Journal of Laws EU L 119/1 of 4 May 2016 – GDPR), the Warsaw University of Technology hereby informs that:

  1. The administrator of your personal data is Warsaw University of Technology, with the official seat at Plac Politechniki 1, 00-661 Warsaw and the Partner University indicated in the application form.
  2. The administrator has appointed the Data Protection Inspector to supervise the processing of personal data. The Inspector can be contacted at the email address: iod@pw.edu.pl.
  3. Taking into account state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of the processing, as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons, Warsaw University of Technology implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including as appropriate, the measures referred to in the Article 32(1) of the Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament.
  4. Your personal data will be processed to conduct the certification process, support you, and track and prepare anonymized statistics. The basis for processing your personal data is art. 6 sec. 1 letter c of GDPR.
  5. Warsaw University of Technology does not intend to transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.
  6. Warsaw University of Technology shall make available to the auditor on request all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with these Principles and shall allow for and contribute to audits, including inspections, by an auditor mandated in relation to the Processing of personal data.
  7. You are entitled to access your personal data, and you have the right to rectify the data, delete the data, limit data processing and object to data processing.
  8. Your personal data will not be made available to third parties except for entities authorized in accordance with legal regulations.
  9. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making and profiling processes.
  10. The provision of your personal data is voluntary, however, failure to provide personal data may result in the inability to fulfill tasks specified in point 4.
  11. You are entitled to make a complaint to the supervisory authority – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if you find that processing your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR Regulation.
  12. Any dispute arising in connection with these Principles, which Warsaw University of Technology will not be able to resolve amicably, will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction District Court of Warsaw.
